This vintage print from the Montreal Camera Club is a stunning piece of history. Captured on the plains of Assiniboia, it showcases a unique perspective of the Canadian landscape. It depicts a Native American on horseback alone in a large field with his rifle gazing off into the distance. The photo is black and white but very crisp. Underneath it gives a brief description of the tensions at the time, blaming the white man for conflict with the natives repeatedly. It is a double sided piece with a the back side showing 4 pictures of pets, including dogs and a cat. The paper overall is in good shape but has some wear around the edges with small tears. It measures about 13” wide and 11” tall.
