Vintage RPPC Lot 4 Judd Children Wanda Opal Billy AZO NOKO Family Photos c1910s.Postcard DetailsLot of four vintage real photo postcards (RPPCs) of the Judd children, circa 1910s, all four inscribed in blue ink on the back with the children's names. Two cards show Wanda Judd in a white dress in the farmyard in front of a white farmhouse: in one she stands beside her doll carriage with a doll seated inside, and in the other, photographed in the same yard on the same day, she is seen from behind watching a group of hogs. Both Wanda cards are on AZO photographic paper; one is inscribed "Wanda Judd, taken near Mo." (the last word abbreviated as written) and the other simply "Wanda Judd." The third card is a studio portrait of Opal Judd in a dark pleated dress with a white lace sailor collar and a pendant necklace, the photograph cropped to an octagonal shape; it is on AZO paper and inscribed "Opal Judd." The fourth card shows toddler Billy Judd in a knitted striped sweater-coat and knit cap with his hands in his pockets, standing against clapboard siding; it is on NOKO photographic paper and inscribed "Billy Judd." All four cards have divided backs and are unposted and unused. These cards come from the same family archive as the Wanda Judd American flag postcard offered separately in our store. Each card measures approximately 3.5 x 5.5 inches.Condition NotesGood vintage condition overall, with one card in fair condition as noted. The two Wanda farmyard cards and the Opal studio portrait are clean and sharp, with the photographs printed with wide white margins in the snapshot style of the period, light edge wear, and clean backs with light toning; the Opal card has a light crease at its lower-left corner. The Billy Judd card, at the far right in the group photos, has heavier wear: a long diagonal crease across the upper-right of the front, a small blue ink mark at the top edge, worn and rounded corners, and soiled edges; its back is toned and soiled with an ink blot at the left edge.
